Craig a top producer of SBA loans since 1981 and realizing the real need that exists, the "SBA LOAN STORE" was designed by Craig Francis, the owner of FRANCIS FINANCIAL which specializes in the packaging and brokering of all forms of SBA loans, as well as commercial and industrial real estate financing.
He received his finance and real estate degree from San Diego State University in 1975, and then joined Dun & Bradstreet that year. As with Dun & Bradstreet, Craig became the top producer of SBA loans during his 7 years with the Local Development Corporation.
In 1988, he took a position with the Bank of Commerce as Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer in the SBA department. Once again, he became the top producer of SBA loans with Bank of Commerce, from 1988 to 1991. His personal production there achieved over $60,000,000 in loans for San Diego County businesses. This total, combined with his loan volume of $87,000,000 with the LDC, made him one of the top 5 loan officers in the nation during those years.
Sensing a change in the credit environment of his bank and the region as a whole, Craig founded FRANCIS FINANCIAL, the only full time SBA loan brokerage in San Diego. His firm retains the distinction of having produced over $541,800,000 loans closed between 2001 and 2008. According to statistics prepared by Broker Magazine, his firm is one of the top 10 commercial real estate brokers in the nation.
Over the past 27 years as both a banker and private company loan broker, he has personally overseen the production of over 1 BILLION DOLLARS to over 2,000 businesses and entrepreneurs in the San Diego and greater Southern California area.
Craig speaks regularly at National University and Chapman College as a keynote speaker for S.C.O.R.E., the Service Corp. of Retired Executives. While not retired himself, Craig's topics include sources of capital, credit analysis, and many other matters of importance to aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs.
